Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We are unable to accept cash, personal checks, money orders, and traveler's checks for online purchases. Only US issued bank cards are accepted.

Q: What discounts are available?
A: Spy Museum members receive a 20% discount on all items except gift cards, memberships and gift wrap services. For information on how to become a member please visit our Membership page.

Q: Is it safe to use my credit card to make purchases on spymuseumstore.org?

A: SpyMuseumStore.org provides a state-of-the-art secure transaction environment for our customers. This site is hosted by Yahoo! Store. Yahoo! uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting certain kinds of information, such as financial services information or payment information. An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browser windows during SSL transactions that involve credit cards and other forms of payment. Any time Yahoo! asks you for a credit card number for payment or for verification purposes, it will be SSL encrypted. The information you provide will be stored securely on our servers. Once you choose to store or enter your credit card number on Yahoo!, it will not be displayed back to you in its entirety when you retrieve or edit it in the future. Instead of the entire number, you will only see asterisks and either the first four digits or the last four digits of your number to protect your privacy.

Q: Can I purchase and use an electronic gift card online?
A: SPY BUCKS electronic gift cards are available online in denominations of $15, $25, $50, and $100. Gift cards can be applied to online sales as well as on-site retail store purchases, ticket sales and memberships. Sales tax, standard shipping charges, and membership discounts do not apply to gift card purchases.

Q: How much do you charge for shipping?

A: Charges will be calculated separately for each address. Certain products have unique shipping charges noted in parenthesis below their description. Those charges will be added to the charges below.

Q: Do you charge taxes?

A. For orders shipped to the District of Columbia a sales tax of 6% will be added to the product subtotal.

Q: Do you deliver to PO Boxes or APO/FPO Addresses ?
A: We don't deliver to PO Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses.

Q: Can I purchase items for delivery outside of the US?
A: We currently ship to Canada only. Orders shipped to Canada will arrive within 8-16 business days. * Please note: Shipping rates are estimates based on your delivery location, additional shipping fees may be incurred based on actual weight and package dimensions. Customer service will notify you by email with any additional fees. To provide you with the most economical shipping rates, no tracking is available for delivery to Canada.

Q: When will my order be shipped?
A: Our goal is to deliver your purchase in the quickest and most economical way possible. You'll be notified promptly of any delivery delays or product back orders. Please note that items ordered together may not ship together.

Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A: It depends on the shipping option that you select. We make every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible using Fedex SmartPost. Please allow 7-10 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays) for delivery of in-stock items. Once your package arrives at your local post office, your local mail carrier will deliver the package to you or place the package in your Post Office Box. You will be notified promptly of any delay. All orders placed on Friday (after 12:00 PM EST) - Sunday, will be processed and shipped on Monday. Please note: Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together. Some items that we sell are shipped directly from the manufacturer and require extra time and expense for delivery. All *drop ship fees will be noted in parenthesis next to the price of the product. Note - drop ship fees may be charged on a separate transaction. ** Expedited and Overnight shipping options are available. See Ship Fee Schedule for these options.

Q: How do I track delivery of my order?
A: You will receive an order confirmation after you check out and a shipping confirmation via email once your package ships. Your package should arrive no later than 5-8 business days after you receive your electronic order confirmation. If your package does not arrive in a timely manner, you contact us by
email or by phone at 1.877.SPY.BUYS with your name, address, order number and shipment tracking number.

Q: What if I wish to cancel or refuse shipments?

A. There is a very small window in which you may make changes to your order. Please call us at 877.SPY.BUYS if you wish to cancel or modify your order. Only if your order has not been routed, can any modifications be made to an existing order. Otherwise, your order is in transit. Outbound and return shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser for all routed orders.
Customers may be charged an additional handling fee for any refused or undelivered shipments due to incorrect address entry on the order form.

Q: What is your returns policy?
A: Your satisfaction is our goal. We stand behind all the products we sell. Please inspect your order upon delivery. If we ship you the wrong item(s) or if items are missing or damaged please contact customer service immediately via
email OR 1.877.SPY.BUYS. Arrangements will be made to return/replace your item(s) at our cost and ensure that the correct item is shipped to you at no additional shipping charge.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return your merchandise 30 days from the ship date with a copy of your sales receipt for a prompt and courteous exchange or refund, whichever you prefer. Please Note: Credit card companies may take up to 2 billing cycles to credit your account. Refunds are not issued 30 days after purchase.

  • Opened software, videos, DVDs, and CDs are returnable for exact replacement only due to defect.
  • Gift cards and memberships cannot be refunded.
  • Products that are drop shipped are non-returnable.
  • All refunds will be made in the same form as the original payment.
  • Gift recipients may exchange their gift or will receive either a SPY BUCKS gift card, redeemable at the International Spy Museum Store and International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C., or a *check refund (*Allow 4 to 6 weeks from receipt of request for processing). Please note: The item(s) returned must be in original packaging in salable condition.
  • All Party Sets have to be returned in complete sets, (can't be broken apart) for full refund.

    A: The International Spy Museum Store accepts phone, fax, and mail orders but can not guarantee the security of your credit card and personal information using methods other than online ordering.

    Q: What is the International Spy Museum?
    A: The International Spy Museum is the first and only public museum in the United States solely dedicated to espionage and the only one in the world to provide a global perspective on this all-but-invisible profession. It features the largest collection of international spy-related artifacts ever placed on public display. The stories of individual spies, told through film, interactives, and state-of-the-art exhibits, provide a dynamic context to foster an understanding of espionage and its impact on current and historic events. In addition to the Museum, the Complex includes a Museum Store, private dining and event facilities, and two restaurants: Zola and Spy City Cafe.     Q. Do you have any retail stores outside of the Museum?

    A: Yes, as of June 2007, the International Spy Museum has established a new business relationship with AMERICA! stores. Our products are now on display and can be purchased from the Spy Museum cart located in Concourse B at Dulles International Airport as well as at full line AMERICA! stores located in Reagan National Airport, Dulles International Airport and Newark Airport plus Old Town Alexandria, Pentagon City, Historic Annapolis and National Harbor. Please look for us at other area airports in the future.
